最近はワールドカップで世界中が盛り上がっていますね。
そして今回の大会でとんでもない怪物が注目されていますよね。
フランス代表、キリアン・エムバペです。
なんと19歳という若さでフランス代表の10番を務め、所属チームはパリ・サンジェルマン。
エムバペを見てて思うんです。

あ、こやつめちゃくちゃ主人公だな。

って。

サッカー界の主人公とかじゃなくてもはや世界の主人公レベルですわ。

だって19歳ですよ？19歳の若者がフランス代表で10番でアルゼンチンから2得点も取って世界中から注目されてる。

僕が19歳の時なんて浪人生でセンター試験前に彼女に振られてストレスで毎日吐きまくってましたからね。笑

まあエムバペと比べてもね？
勝てるわけない、サッカーやったことあんまないし。

何が言いたいかというと、
人生の主人公は自分だ！！！
って記事を書くということです。(支離滅裂)

人生の主人公が自分じゃないって思ってた高校時代

僕は中学時代、自分で言うのもなんですが成績も良くて部活動も全国大会に出るくらいで、結構何でもできるキャラだったんですよね。
高校は県で2番目に偏差値高いところにも進学して、

あー、おれ割と最強だなー主人公だわーきてるわー

って思ってました。

ほんで高校時代にこの甘っちょろいプライドが壊れます。

県内で2番目に賢い高校に行ったので、もちろん周りがめちゃくちゃ頭いいんですよね。
そのため中学の時はクラスで1.2番目とかだった成績が、高校では真ん中より下くらいになってしまいました。
それでも部活動ではそれなりに結果を出してたのが救いでした。県で3位にもなって、まだまだおれは主人公だ！って思ってたんですが、最後の総体で高校1年生の選手に負けてしまって、今まで積み上げてきたものが全て崩れてしまったんですよね。

勉強もパッとしないし取り柄の部活も年下に負けてしまってなんも持ってねぇなーって思ってました。

しかも同級生の中にはめちゃくちゃイケメンで性格も良くて医学部受かるやつとかもいましたからね、こういうやつが主人公なんだろなーって遠目で見てました。

そして勉強もあまりしてなかったこともあり受験も失敗、浪人して結局地方国立大に進学しました。

人生の主人公は自分だと気付いた

大学を卒業し、大学院へと進学しました。
そして就職活動をしていくんですが、就職活動って、経験したことがある人はわかると思いますが、自分のこれまでの人生をめちゃくちゃ振り返ると思うんですよね。

高校時代楽しかったなーとか、
中学時代はプライド高かったなーとか、
そういやあいつイケメンで成績も良くて性格良くて医学部受かったなーとか

ここで僕の中で転機が訪れます。

はぁーやっぱおれ主人公じゃねーなー

主人公ってのはやっぱりイケメンで成績も良くて性格良かったあいつとかを主人公って言うんだろうなー

出木杉くんかよーくそがー

出木杉くんすげぇなーーーーー

ん？？？？？

あれ？？？？？？

出木杉くんって

主人公じゃなくね・・・・？

ドラえもんの主人公のび太じゃね？？？
いやドラえもんの主人公はドラえもんか？？？

出木杉くんって主人公じゃなくね！？？！？(2回目)

僕の中で、出木杉くんが主人公じゃないってことを気付いたことが衝撃でした。
いや、出木杉くんは主人公じゃないってみんな知ってるんですけどね。

あの人望もあって頭も良い出木杉くんは、ドラえもんの世界では脇役なんです。映画版のドラえもんではほとんど登場しないようなキャラなんです。

これまで、人生の主人公を考えた時、主人公は何でもできるやつだったり、人望溢れるやつだとばっかり思い込んでいたことに気付きました。

そう気付いて、あれ？おれ主人公になれるんじゃね？てかもはや主人公じゃね？？
って思うようになったんですよね。

人生の主人公は自分という生き方

就職活動をきっかけに、出木杉くんが主人公じゃないって気付いて、自分への肯定感が高まっていきました。
確かに漫画の主人公で何でもできるやつってあまりいないですよね。むしろどこか欠点があったりすることが多いなって。

のび太だってほとんど何もできないのに主人公張ってますよね、彼。

のび太なんてドラえもん現れなかったら意味ないじゃん、ドラえもんゲーじゃん！
って言う人！

そこはね？
まあ、そうだけどね？
わかろ？？？
言わんとしてること何となくわかるっしょ？？？？

結局、人生の主人公が自分であると決めるのは自分自身なんです。

自分以外のやつが活躍してる、なんてのは漫画でいう脇役回と一緒なんです。

学校や職場で怒られる、なんてのも
あー、今回は主人公が怒られる回なんだなー
ぐらいに思えばいいんです。

そして何か活躍、評価されるような時、
あー、やっぱおれ主人公だわー
って思えばいいんです。

人生の、この世の主人公は自分であるという生き方、最高じゃないですか？
(何やってもいいってわけじゃないでっせ)

自分を否定しない生き方ができそうですよね。
自分をどれだけ肯定するか、それこそが自分を主人公にする秘訣だと思います。

たった一回の人生ですから、自分を主人公だと思って生きなきゃ損ですよね。

なのでぼくはこれからも自分が主人公だと思って生きていきます。
